Balenciaga Triple S

Cristóbal Balenciaga was born in 1895 in Getaria, Spain. With the support of the Countess, Balenciaga was able to open his first tailoring salon in San Sebastián at the age of only 24. When the Spanish Civil War broke out in 1936, the designer moved to the fashion metropolis of Paris, where he opened his fashion salon in the “Avenue George V” at number 10 – the address still houses the Balenciaga flagship store today.

Balenciaga Triple S

It may sound a little difficult at first to find something really matching the new Balenciagas in the wardrobe. But the styling could not be easier. Something really elaborate is definitely not needed for the colourful 50/50 sneakers. For these eye-catchers on the feet, we advise you to go with the most single-coloured version of jeans and T-shirt possible – without losing any fashion affinity. Besides the sneakers’ controversial, two-track design, another version of the Triple S is dropped. The latest versions come in green, grey and blue with striking yellow laces. For those who like it a bit more subdued, there is also a mix of neon green, black and grey. The Balenciaga Triple S can be ordered at Farfetch at a price of 995 US dollars.
